Up early. Forgot to put the bedroom clock back before going to sleep last night.
Lol. Holiday from what? How far from home have you travelled and what do you plan to do?
Sure is, we are away next weekend at a site 20 miles away, go every year for the last weekend of the season, place is deserted set in woodland, spooky walks after dark listening for owlsIt's a change from the same old, same old.
You're the same with your lady friends. It's a change from the same old, same old.
20 miles away? You could jog home every night! I can understand it you're travelling a fair distance but 20 miles and you're giving up your home comforts - bed, bath, heating, flushing toilet etc. That sounds like roughing it to me.Sure is, we are away next weekend at a site 20 miles away, go every year for the last weekend of the season, place is deserted set in woodland, spooky walks after dark listening for owls
Got all those in the MH apart from bath, don't have one at home either, can't beat walking in the woods with the Merlin app to identify birdlife, nearby NT property with a good cafe & farm shop full of goodies20 miles away? That will be great at 2, 4 and 6 in the morning!and there is a flush toilet a short walk away.
Great app! Just tried it out my garden. When I first got it I walked through churchyard, it picked up about 20 different birds in a few minutes
There's a Great Tit in my garden at the moment.
We just had two weeks touring India by rail mainly, fantastic trip if a little tiring, I enjoy a weekend in the MH just as muchThere are as many different holidays as people. A holiday can be a change of scenery, a break from routine, a chance to do anything or nothing and a chance to recharge your human batteries. It can be near or far, long or short, whatever you want it to be.
No toilet in the caravan?I'm only 60 miles from home, it's dry, it's warm, has a good shower, and there is a flush toilet a short walk away. As a youth, I would camp in the snow, so this is relative luxury.
