Inspired by King Andy I went out to the sales today to see if I could get a bargain TV too - and I found one!

50" Samsung, only £150!

It has a slight fault with the volume control but at that price I couldn't turn it down.

Rang Next again and they gave me £20 vouchers for the missing two pairs.

The first Easy Peelers this northern hemisphere season to be labelled as "Mandarins". The ones labelled "Clementines" have been pretty poor. I had one good bag and of the rest three quarters were awful. These are Tang Gold from Spain. Lovely deep colour, better than this photo, and feel really nice (although that doesn't mean a lot). Only way to tell is to try them!

My experience is similar.

Hit and miss. The good ones are superb: plump, juicy and full of flavour.

The poor ones are awful: dry and tasteless.
