What have you bought today?

I've just discovered the delights of Vinted. It’s a sort of eBay for unwanted clothes. I bought (New with tags) a pair of Gant swim shorts £18 (£50+ in the shops) and a Gant short sleeved Oxford shirt, £20. They are £95 in the shops. Each purchase you pay an insurance to cover non arrival/faulty/damaged/fake/not as described etc. In both cases, it was £1.70 per item plus postage costs - less than £2.50. I could get hooked!
Arrived today. 175 quids worth of clothing for less than £45. I’m happy enough - Mrs Mottie says that with my white legs, I’ll be giving a nod to the Neapolitan look in that setup.

Washing machine as we have had one break in a rather odd way after a relatively short time. Ikea integrated.

Pick one carefully but find no one has stock. Currys show it with a rather great price and say have some on order. Web says 10 to 20days but a bit vague about when we would get it when asked. Web now says no stock but by leaving it for a week AO have stock. So ordered it. Price as I expected £500+ not sub £400 as Curry's suggested. They have upped that now but no stock.

AO kid £40 off me for free things that should include delivery but didn't. Just noticed that I have probably signed up for £40 per year. Must remember to cancel.

Eeeeek the new machine is wifi enabled. Hoping it doesn't insist this has to be set up. It does have the usual knob etc.

Looks like AO show no stock now.

A pair of ruby and diamond earrings. A present for Mrs Mottie for putting up with me for so long. She'll get them next month on our 40th wedding anniversary. I bought them in our local independant jewellers and Vijay gave me a pretty decent discount on them.

Congratulations in advance. (y) :giggle:

Not one for gimmicky things/tools but i bought one of these and it works quite well on my cheap blades etc. May even try on lawn mower here.

Bought a tall cupboard end panel, an oak peg board for the plate drawer and an under cupboard pull out waste bin from Magnet for the kitchen. Came to £326. But…I returned some unused panels and trim and received a £332 refund so I’m up six quid. :)

AO are very good at price matching within 7 days after the sale. Just fill in an online form. I got £90 refunded after I’d bought my hob from them. Just look online and send them the link. It’s very easy.
