I was intrigued by an electric half propelled bike and headed to halfords to check one out.
Those fools kept me outside for 10 minutes.
I didn't mind as i was messing about with the phone, but then I looked inside and there was nobody.
I walked away and the woman from behind the till shouted at the gestapo girl who stopped me, to call me.
I turned around and she said I could go in.
I said it was too late, I would go to evans.
The girl behind the till (manager?) Jumped outside "please sir, I'll help you with whatever you need"
I told her i was there to buy an electric bike but got fed up waiting outside an empty store.
The till woman asked the gestapo in the shop for "a word".
I bet they get mega commissions on those bikes.
Bad for them, a good customer advisor would've sold me an expensive bike today.
Passed the moment, I'm kind of glad it didn't happen, so back on my old reliable heavy horse...

Today’s boredom purchase is a £13 mini camping cooker so that I can have a brew when I’m over the allotment. Maybe a cheeky bacon or sausage sandwich or even a dirty burger.

gas cartridges £8 for 4 at halfords this week.
Thanks. There's 8 for less than a tenner delivered on Amazon but I still have seven cartridges left from when I bought a weed burner last year.
5 suitable ones for a fiver at Wilco's a few weeks ago. Be stupid not to have bought some.

That's too big for the camping stove. Max size of 250g. That one is 335g and has the wrong fitting at the end. Plus it’s a butane/propane mix.

I bought a burger press.
My wife simply uses a ramikin dish. Just the right size for a nice juicy 1/4 pounder.
Got one of them to go with the weed burner. Sure it was only £2.99 at the time, round about the end of May.
Today I have bought 150 disposable face masks, 5 face shields, a forehead infra-red thermometer and three bottles of 80% alcohol hand sanitiser just in case I go back to work in September.
