What have you bought today?

Today’s boredom purchase is a £13 mini camping cooker so that I can have a brew when I’m over the allotment.

Just ordered a new rally strap for one of my watches.

Well, they arrived together. Both work fine. Now, where that bacon while the wife's out?:LOL:

I was intrigued by an electric half propelled bike and headed to halfords to check one out.
Those fools kept me outside for 10 minutes.
I didn't mind as i was messing about with the phone, but then I looked inside and there was nobody.
I walked away and the woman from behind the till shouted at the gestapo girl who stopped me, to call me.
I turned around and she said I could go in.
I said it was too late, I would go to evans.
The girl behind the till (manager?) Jumped outside "please sir, I'll help you with whatever you need"
I told her i was there to buy an electric bike but got fed up waiting outside an empty store.
The till woman asked the gestapo in the shop for "a word".
I bet they get mega commissions on those bikes.
Bad for them, a good customer advisor would've sold me an expensive bike today.
Passed the moment, I'm kind of glad it didn't happen, so back on my old reliable heavy horse...

Hey, start your own thread. 'What I nearly bought today'. :p

I keep thinking of buying a conversion kit to convert my existing bike to electric. Have you looked at them?

Perhaps I should start a 'what I'm thinking of buying' thread?:LOL:

Thanks. There's 8 for less than a tenner delivered on Amazon but I still have seven cartridges left from when I bought a weed burner last year.

5 suitable ones for a fiver at Wilco's a few weeks ago. Be stupid not to have bought some. :)

Today I have bought 150 disposable face masks, 5 face shields, a forehead infra-red thermometer and three bottles of 80% alcohol hand sanitiser just in case I go back to work in September.

Sanitiser has dropped dramatically in price compared to when it was first advocated.
