What have you bought today?

I think Mrs Mottie who loves flowers has been royally had over. Signed up to freddiesflowers and the first delivery arrived today - at 5 ****ing 22 am! Noisy bastard even took a couple of flash photographs of the box on our doorstep. Now, it may be me being tight, but £25 for this? It seems to be mostly greenery to me. The 'USP' is that you assemble the bouquet yourself! I don't begrudge her spending on anything but I’m going to ask her to knock this weekly extravagance on the head. She can get a much better ready-made bouquet delivered from any of our local florists for £25 - and you don’t have to sign up for a weekly bouquet either!

I'd say "calm down, Flower" but, as there aren't many flowers, that might just rile you more:mrgreen:

I tend to agree Mottie...£25/ week....for an awful lot of green stuff...Good luck talking the Mrs round!

Yeah, nothing like the flowers he's putting in those boxes on his website. No wonder he’s got a smug smirk on his face!

£25 p/w?! Elton John-esque:mrgreen:

Flippin heck, she'd be better going to tesco. A lot of flowers for that dosh, and last longer than a week - florist flowers tend to die off fast in my experience (even if a vast range). :(

Flippin heck
Yeah, I said something similar. Actually, just spoke to her (Thursday is her babysitting day for our grandson so she’s in Chelmsford all day) and apparently she’s only having them for one more week as she used an introductory half price code valid for two weeks then she’s cancelling. We'll see. :cautious:

First lock down caused me to get into air rifles again. Yet another arrived yesterday ;) but it's getting a bit cold to shoot in the garden. So also have a couple of old ones to work on.

Nice! My mate bought a Triumph a few years ago. He got number 1 of a limited edition of 30. When he picked it up it was presented to him by John Bloor. He prefers it to his previous bike, an R1.
