What scares you?

I have looked around, and I see a multicultural society where people are free to practice region as they see fit, without persecution. I do also see unfortunately, a small but very vocal group of hateful xenophobics who are brainwashed by the right wing media.

This group of people find it easier to blame foreigners for their problems, as the real truth is a much harder pill to swallow.

As Muslims only represent 5% of England, and yet they are taking over... in your opinion.... don't you think you should admire them, and see what attributes they have that you don't?

At the moment perhaps, things change. The reason most of those muslims are here is because their own countries are either pizz poor or have been decimated by war. An all too common trait amongst muslim countries. BTW most Arab muslims in this country are Sunnis, same as ISIS. So they're not averse to a bit of beheading and mayhem.

That 5% are not spread evenly around the country, they are concentrated in urban areas with some areas having well over 30%.
Try telling people in those areas they're not being taken over. Also that 5% are responsible for 10% of the children under 5 in this country. What does that tell you.

How many problems are the 'tolerant lot' storing up for our kids and grandkids with their multicultural society dream?
Which incidentally, you would think warranted at least a national referendum BEFORE being put into action. I must have missed that one.

I feel rather strange when looking both sides of a dam. A sheer drop one side and an immense body of water the other. Something unsettling about this.

I remember a few years back we had nigh on two weeks of solid rain one late Autumn. Floods everywhere, homes sand-bagged, rivers overflowing.

I went around to my uncles house (at night) and he led me into the kitchen at the back. He turned on the outside light and I gasped. The water was to within a few yards of his back door. I just wasn't prepared for the sight. Very weird feeling.

Yes, I understand what you mean about dams. Very strange. I once drove across Ben Lawers in the Highlands at night and suddenly the dam appeared. Scared the f*** out me.
