What scares you?

How many problems are the 'tolerant lot' storing up for our kids and grandkids with their multicultural society dream?
Which incidentally, you would think warranted at least a national referendum BEFORE being put into action. I must have missed that one.

I have to agree that the signs are all there to be seen by those who have eyes. It's easy for some to say that there's no apparent threat where they live, but those who live in urban areas are fully aware of what's happening.

I no longer worry about what will happen: there's nothing I can do about it, and by the time things become really bad neither I nor my wife will be here anyway. Shame about our younger people, though.

I think seeing the water reflecting at night is strange, especially when you are not expecting it to be there.

You mean like if you take a wrong turn in the car and your headlights light up the murky water in a canal.

I was driving near Truro somewhere in the dark and unknown to me round the bend was the river Fal.

Just a warning sign (which I missed) and then the road dipped into the river - the only way over was by a chain ferry. King Harry, if I remember rightly.

Caught the river in my headlights at the last second, stood on the anchors and made it with just the front wheels in the water!

I only have one

You have an (ex) wife too.

No.

That's me.

Surely the best way to deal with someone who is patronising is to demonstrate why they are wrong, with the facts as they stand?

I dont take what you say to me personally, call me anything you like.

But in all seriousness, how have Muslims affected your life?

You don't look all that bad considering your recent ailments.

Glossy coat.

Ruddy complexion.

I bet you've even got a wet nose.

Again it's the unexpected. There's a ford near me, only about a foot deep but came across it by accident first of all. Something very wrong about driving down the side of a foot bridge. Especially when you look to the side and the river is a lot deeper.

It's a bit runny.

Does that make me Red Setter?

Norcon: I shall practice "I believe"... I might end up as the UK's Conchita Wurst !

Squeaks: when you say back and sides, it's all gone a bit wild!
