Social constructionism questions what is defined by humans and society to be reality. Therefore, social constructs can be different based on the society and the events surrounding the time period in which they exist.

Ok. So, why is what people mean by race not accepted by you?​

Edit: Perhaps I can give a few examples of socially constructed concepts as elucidation.
Religion is a socially constructed concept. It doesn't exist as a scientifically based concept. It only exists because society has created and sustains it.
Politics could be similarly described.

The same as (what people mean by) race, then, therefore it exists as much as politics and religion.

To take an example of how 'race' is socially constructed within the society that it exists:
Those who would be considered 'black' in Russia or South America, would be considered 'mixed race' in USA, South Africa, Europe or Australasia.

It is the case that anyone with the smallest amount of "blackness" is refered to as black - like Meghan - but that is irrelevant, isn't it.

There is no such thing as your concept of race that relies on biological differences, as espoused by a racist ideology.

I've proven many times, so has BAS, that your concept of race is incorrect, out-dated, Victorian, and based on racist ideology.
If you wish to disregard such proof, that is your choice. If you wish to continue to base your concept of race on that racist ideology, it proves beyond a shadow of doubt that you are racist at heart.

The answer is simple, stop being racist.
