Edit: Perhaps I can give a few examples of socially constructed concepts as elucidation.
Religion is a socially constructed concept. It doesn't exist as a scientifically based concept. It only exists because society has created and sustains it.
Politics could be similarly described.
To take an example of how 'race' is socially constructed within the society that it exists:
Those who would be considered 'black' in Russia or South America, would be considered 'mixed race' in USA, South Africa, Europe or Australasia.
This shows how 'race'/etnicity is not only a socially constructed concept, but the 'race'/ethnicity into which people are pigeon-holed varies from one society to another.

If those racists don't like being called out, they should stop being racist.
