Because it's all been done before. They have to hype something quite mundane, and repackage it, so that it attracts people to it. Also, younger people of the ipad, Play Station age have short attention spans, so they have to present it like this to get their attention. Same reason for the loud rock backing track. Makes it look less mundane.

There's some complete drivel out there. Extreme baking programmes, documentries about JCB drivers. Big brother.
