Trump has promised America:

Food prices will plummet
Gas prices will plummet
Car insurance will be cut in half
Inflation will disappear completely
Bring down mortgage rates
He will deport millions of undocumented immigrants
He will end Ukraine war before being inaugurated
Impose Huge tariffs on foreign goods
Healthcare will become a lot less expensive for everybody

I presume his supporters on here will be happy to say he will achieve all those things, that’s why they support him, right?

But it’s fair to ask how realistic these promises are and what specific steps he plans to take to make them happen. Big changes take a lot of time and cooperation to pull off, so I’m curious about the details behind each of these promises.

All governments in waiting make pledges that they won’t keep.

Like our own Labour
Labour had a manifesto, they’ve already got 38 items in the Kings speech many of which relate to their manifesto.

Which specific items have they made that they won’t keep? (Pledges from 2020, pre covid, pre cost of living crisis are not relevant)

Oh well here we go again. Political rants ignoring the point of the 1st post.

He'll have to rein back on much of it, whether through choice or checks and balances of their political process.

A major aim cropped up in a financial interview. An area that is rather like CGT which is handled in the same way. FED rate and another.
21%
In the U.S., the federal corporate tax rate is a flat rate of 21%. States may also impose a separate corporate tax on companies.

He wants it to be 15%. Tough task says the interviewers. Yes he replies. He needs to raise money some other way to do it or cut gov costs. There is a break down of were the revenue comes from here

Vast bulk public taxes. Web reckons corporation tax is worth about $0,5t of $4.92t. Individual income $2.43t = 49%. Medicare costs - simple factors
Medicare is funded by the Social Security Administration. Which means it's funded by taxpayers: We all pay 1.45% of our earnings into FICA - Federal Insurance Contributions Act - which go toward Medicare. Employers pay another 1.45%, bringing the total to 2.9%.
but age etc when joined can crop up. What they don't cover

He will deport millions of undocumented immigrants
No one seems sure about how many there are. Some 10's of millions get mentioned. He also mentioned letting some in - back in. Suppose job related.

Impose Huge tariffs on foreign goods
Biden have mentioned several EV related on China. Some on materials are low as sources are needed for the USA. Mentions finding alternative sources of these.

Every point in that list are Trumps promises

Some will be achievable, some no doubt wont.

One of the main reasons Kamala lost is her policies were, er, well there weren't any. She did smile a lot though.
