A bit pointless.

Is compensation involved :rolleyes::idea:

Are victims of crime not entitled to compo especially if they have suffered an injury, physically or mentally???
I think its funded by people like me ie the taxpayers for those suffering at the hand of crims, rightly so IMO.

The culprit has to be found guilty I think but I'm not sure how it works so look it up and in most victims' minds is justice rather than the compo but the compo is there if the alleged culprit is found guilty. So the case is not as stated in the first post.

@The Humanitarian, you show your impetuousness to defend your posts with emboldened vitriolic responses that appear to show you have not understood the respondents answer.
First of all I am trying to make the point these people should be prosecuted, even if they are serving a full life term.
Secondly, women who have been attacked/flashed etc DO DRAW SOME SMALL MEASURE OF JUSTICE when these people are successfully prosecuted. They know that at least that particular person will never do it to them, or anyone else, ever again.
Whether every victim of these crimes feels vindicated/relieved/sense of justice will depend on each individual and not for me, or anyone else to speculate about. Someone I know closely was a victim of sexual assault and, even though the perpetrator has since died, she doesn't feel as though her fears will ever go away. It takes tremendous effort to keep those fears contained in a 'locked box' but certain situations can open that box and then the struggle to contain them has to start all over again.
To make it crystal clear. I do not agree with the O/P. I think no matter how long someone is imprisoned for, whether is be the usual life, (10 years?), or whole life, (never to be released), they should be prosecuted for any other crimes they have committed that have a high chance of conviction. Don't forget, we still have a law that gives a new sovereign the right to free all prisoners if they decide to. This is why we refer to people serving time at her/his majestys' pleasure. So the more convictions on their charge sheet the less chance of them EVER being released.

For the record, I haven't bothered reading any further posts than your reply as I am actually quite busy and have other things to do.

Hummy has stated in many posts that he is a man and has a husband - FACT

Not only that, his husband is a cage fighter and saves up all his aggression for when he is in the ring.

The bottom line is that when these people are discovered to have committed other/further crimes, their victims often feel vindicated and this can help them to move forward with their lives with a little bit of confidence.
Indeed, and the telling line in that article is...

"Rosemary Ainslie, head of the CPS special crime division, said: "Following a referral of evidence by the Metropolitan Police, the CPS has authorised four charges of indecent exposure against Wayne Couzens."

It may well turn out that the crimes weren't treated as serious and properly looked into...

And it may also turn out that had they been, then maybe the later murder might not have happened...

After all it's not unknown for the MET not to carry out an investigation properly...

Aside from possibly bringing a bit of comfort to these victims, it's well worth the money to shine the light on possible police incompetence/negligence!

Indeed a fact, either way NOT as per the first post, fact!!!
The four victims need closure as they were/are victims of a heinous crime and sadly some don't think it's worth pursuing. God forbid that this kind of thing never happens to anyone's loved ones but if it does, the police and the CPS will ensure it is investigated, fact!!!!!
