The anti-Corbyn propaganda will be stepped up to max for the next month. It's important that the dumb electorate must not believe there is any alternative to Theresa's mob.

Rees-Mogg has put his CV in the post.

the kiss of death:

"Downing Street refused to be drawn on the leak for several hours. But after Rudd’s statement, a spokesman finally said: “The prime minister has full confidence in the home secretary and the hugely important work that she is carrying out at the Home Office.”

Russia bots supported Corbyn during 2017 election.

They posted pro labour tweets and anti conservative tweets.

No wonder Corbyn refused to condemn Russia over Salisbury attacks.

Going...going...Gone!
About time too!
Interestingly, the political commentators are saying that one of the reasons she felt she needed to resign is because she could not be sure about what other evidence might emerge to prove that she was lying (or incompetent).
That suggests to me that she knew she was lying and was hoping to get away with it.
Is she related to a**e end, by any chance?

Anyway, now that she is on the backbench, lets see how "brave, principled, thoughtful, humane, considerate" she is, and wait for her to speak out vociferously against Brexit, where "cabinet collective responsibility" does not apply.
Although she obviously was not brave enough to overturn TM's targets for forced repatriation.

As Diane Abbot comments. TM should now face parliament to answer questions, she set those targets.

This weeks local elections result will be interesting.

Next question - will this remainer be replaced by another remainer or a leaver?

I read that.

Lol running interference again for the torys. How does that link to Rudd?
In the two months either side of the 8 June vote, he found more than one million posts in support of Labour but fewer than 388,000 backing the Conservatives and other parties far behind.

When looking only at accounts that tweeted in English but appeared to originate in Russia, he found 21,448 tweets on British politics were created in 30 days leading up to the election.

“Most Labour-hashtagged tweets were positive but most Tory ones were negative, and that’s interesting coming from Russian accounts – it indicates some sort of direction,” Professor Talavera told The Independent.

So about 21k tweets from 1m.

But if we are looking at Russian influence how about the way the Russian Oligarchs have links to the Tory party. Also how Oleg Deripaska has got around sanctions floating his company in London recently. But I'm sure that a discussion for another thread.

If we think Russian influence is corrosive then it's not just tweets and social media it's more pervasive.

You know you're doomed when Diane Abbott is coming over all sanctimonious and "capable" over you.......

I wonder what's worse. A competent operator but proven liar or an incompetent operator but honest (afaik Abbot not proven to have lied)

What wonderful representatives.

Even here on DIYnot, there are only about half a dozen hate-filled RWRs who repeatedly abuse foreigners.

Do you know any people who hate foreigners and are pro-EU?

I dont Suppose Amber Rudd hated foreigners but like Ive said in the past not all remainers have Foreigners best interest at heart.

So Amber Rudd is not an example of a person who hates foreigners and is pro-EU.

Do you know any people who hate foreigners and are pro-EU?

Don't know about Rudd personal views but as a Minister they implement party policy so they either agree with it or feel they have the best chance of modifying, altering from within.
