Tolerance, tolerance, tolerance. All we ever hear about is tolerance.

Tolerance of;

high crime/violent crime levels
drug taking
ridiculous immigration leading to over crowding (UK population soon to be 70m!!!)
PanAm bomber released on compassionate grounds
Binge drinking ruining town centres
Forieign criminals coming to fleece us
gipsys buildng on green-belt and stealing
teenage mothers on benefits
unemployed layabouts
dishonest MPs
Murders released in 10 years from prison
etc
etc
etc

When do we get a break from tolerance? Not really working. In my day we were much less tolerant, and the country was a much better place.

Some times JohnD it could also be argued that this site comes under some of the intolerances of the 30's/40's with the censorship of some of the topics and or threads which have not contained any thing malicous ,abusive ,threatening to anything or anyone.

Yes, I have traced my family back many centuries and discovered that I am descended from Normans who are descended from Vikings.

If you have done this tracing through a scientific gene trace eg saliva test and found that your Y chromasone is of the R1a or I1 halpogroups you are probably correct.

Why do you think mainstream religions even have their own schools? if it's not to try to indoctrinate impressionable young minds into their "truth" before they are well formed enough to make their own judgements.
As Richard Dawkins says, there is no such thing as a catholic child or a muslim child, only a child of catholic or muslim parents.
Schools should be secular, the sooner that happens the sooner we'll be rid of these ridiculous divisions based on primitive scare stories handed down from the dawn of recorded history..
