It does apply the other way round, a much larger proportion are dying/ spending serious time in hospital as a result of covid, who have not had the vaccine.

A death is recorded as being caused by covid if a person dies within 28 days after a positive test for covid. Even if they died of something else, were extremely old, didn't have covid symptoms, got run over by a bus or simply "would have died anyway". It's as if someone is trying to falsify the covid death figures upwards.

When a person dies after having a covid vaccine, the death is attributed to anything but the vaccine, as if someone is trying to falsify the vaccine death figures downwards. Nothing to see here, move along please!
Why the discrepancy in attributing the deaths? That is the question.
