Anyone got any evidence for a god?

Mikefromlondon - very logical, if you miss out the word GOD. Energy is fine but I think you lot prey to Energy but call it God, but Energy has never answered any prayers, cos it can't hear, it is energy, not a being with thought and personality.
Energy is everything but GOD it isn't.

Yes Energy and God are twined, they are the same thing, as I explained they are the two sides of a coin, or God is fire and energy is the heat, you cannot get heat without a fire, if there is fire you will get heat, not saying you can't get heat through some other means, such as electricity, but then again, electricity is a form of energy driven out from God energy, electricity is a flow of electrons. Electrons are invisible.

And then you have a relationship between electricity and electromagnetism and gravity.

Let me give you an experiment to conduct, if you have one of those old cathode ray tube TVs, it will give you a perfect colour picture with all colours balanced, now invert the TV or turn it topsy turvy, and you will see how the gravity now distorts the colours, as the electrons are now targeting wrong phosphor colour dots on the screen and your tv will go more green or one of the other three prime colours. Some influence is due to earth's magnetic field as well.

Also a beam of electrons or a stream of electrons as emitted from the Cathode and attracted to the screen which is the highly charged Anode at some great positive potential, the stream of electrons can get deflected by magnetism, so magnets have direct effect on electrons.

There is much more we have not yet discovered, and how energy interacts with humanity, is beyond humans so far, my prayers when i have made them whilst in deep anxiety, made through my honest believing heart, have been all answered.

yes I would not be take it for granted that if instinctively something said to put on a lottery numbers given to me in a dream like state, and I don't win, that is not what i would say was a message from God, for God doesn't like anyone gambling, all religions prohibit this evil habit, it destroys many who indulge in gambling.

Natural disasters strike our earth and it is easy to blame God because we cannot see how foolishly we are destroying our own planet, through billions of cars churning out CO2 and billions of humans polluting our atmosphere, we are like in a fish tank, we are producing more waste than it can be safely disposed off, this in turn is creating climate changes and hence we are getting more tsunamis, hurricanes and tornados, floods, unusual weather, fracking for oil is weakening earths crust, one day it may just explode and the hot molten lava could submerge Great Britain like Pompe.

France conducted some underground nuclear tests, but not in their own country, they used south Pacific seas close to where the last major earth plates moved and caused a major tsunami. You only need a large strong shock wave for the plates to start moving and cause tsunami.

The last tsunami was in japan.

Mike, you are the weirdest religious person I think I have ever come across !!!

forget explaining science with god... try telling us the benefits of your god..

The main benefit is knowing that someone is there, even if you can't see him, I am always conscious of his presence, i don't know why I feel that way, we need to do some more research in this unknown phenomenon or field.

We could both make a perfect team, you can be the scientist, and i and Joe could be the subjects of study, then you could discover God!

News headlines, Sombrero Discovers the ultimate truth! ;)

Believing in a God, the creator of our Universe, should not have anything to do with any religion, I am not a religious person at all, I do not go to any Churches, mosques, temples synagogues or Gurdwara to worship God,

I infact do not worship God in the sense religious people do. I talk to him in my mind and think about him most of the times, that is my way of worshipping him, just talking about him is a worship, he so pleased with that I am pretty sure, he knows I not totally innocent, i have many faults, I may have often doubted him, i may have insulted him, then I always ask him for forgiveness, for being silly, that includes you as well since you discuss about him, he must be so very pleased with you and that is why he has not lobed your head off yet, because he gives you the credit for starting not one but many thread about him, he is truly pleased with that, and that starts a debate on God, so we all end up worshiping him.
Sombrero, you curse God, he won't even slap you, he knows you are an idiot and he simply forgives idiots! ;)

BTW, I am not less of an idiot! :)

God is the most friendliest guy you can meet in the whole Universe! but you must be good at pretending that you met him, even if you never saw him with your eyes, use your head mate. Think! you have the brains!

and the whole earth nearly got owned to nuclear radiation leak.

And?

What's that got to do with evidence of god's existence or not?

Just been reading the 22 pages of waffle spouted by the religionists in the other recent thread. Utter twaddle.

Some of it was very amusing - BnB for example though was sad reading.

"My god is realer than your god" has to be the most pathetic argument I have read in a long time.

It's got nothing to do with the Bible mate - the Universe is there in front of your eyes. It came from somewhere or something. Let's call that something God and be done with it.
That's okay with me but I rather call it the Universe, it's the same thing isn't it?

No. The universe is the effect. God is the cause of that effect.

There must be or there would be no universe. Science cannot answer why the universe was created, and it must be created because I can see it.

Nor can God answer anything, such as 'Why was God Created'
So if you think the Universe was created because you can see it, then it follows that you don't believe in God because you cant see it.
Come on Joe , you either believe what you see or you don't. Like all of you God Bother's, you want it both ways.

Something behind the universe was never created, must have always been. Everything that ever was or ever will be comes from that source (including you and me). There is but one. Let's just call it God and have done with it.

So what created the Universe was always there was it, strange theory with no evidence. If you can believe that what created the Universe was always there is a big cop out. It is a cop out that avoids the whole issue of not understanding the problem of the Universe. It also has not one sliver of evidence in support of your theory.
If you can believe the thing that created the Universe was always there, then why not accept the more reasonable theory that the Universe has always been there. At least the latter has some evidence, the former has no evidence what so ever.
Joe - you have finally lost the plot, all that is left is for you to accept it.

The universe is a finite age of 13.4 billion years. Where did it come from?

It either came from a source that has always been there (god) or something acted upon nothing to make it something (god).

Take your pick.
