Anyone got any evidence for a god?

matt1e, you should have guessed by now that I do not practice any religion, I am totally an independent thinker, I do not follow other people's ideas unless they are hard proven, I respect einstein because he was a greatest person ever to understand nature and his laws, and how he first worked out that energy cannot be destroyed, if it was not for him, I doubt i could have based any of my own theories which sound more convincing than just the big bang theory springing out of Nothing!

But you believe in the bible?

But you believe in the bible?

yes only where it says that God created this universe from something that we cannot see into something that we can.

in how many days he created the earth is totally irrelevant as the times stated in the bible e.g. 6 days is totally irrelevant, we do not know what those 6 days mean, they could be God's 6 days not earthly things 6 days.

and yes I have read part of Holy Koran, parts of Bhagwat Gita, parts of the Old Testament, and parts of the New testament, studied about concept of God in Sikhism, and other and various concepts and beliefs of Hinduism, and studied science and I added them all up and came to an independent conclusion that God is indeed none other than pure Energy, which is part of every atom ever created, and gravitons are an invisible link to this prime source from which we all emanated, hence why we cannot detach anything or ourselves from the bounds of gravity, everything is held by gravity. Like mother to a child, and that invisible bond between a mother and a child is the most powerful bond and no matter where a child goes, mother will not stop worrying for her child, same way we are all bound to thos mother of all Energies.

well you are basing your theories on the wrong fella Mike
it wasn't Einstein that first worked that out
he did however combine the "conservation of energy "and "conservation of matter" laws as it was him that realised they were one and the same thing
and while I don't exactly buy into the big bang theory it is certainly a better argument than you are putting forward
Maybe you should read more?

Moving the goalposts again are we?

Scientists believe in God. They know the universe came into being a finite time ago. They don't know where or why but it must have come from somewhere/something. Let's give that somewhere/something a name. Let's call it God.

No lets not
pick another name for it as that name has already been taken by the very entity that we are discussing
and no they don't know the universe came into existence a finite time ago

The universe is on a cycle. Just like a sandcastle on the beach. Its created and then the passing of time erodes it.

Just like the universe. Gods universe.

Our biggest problem is that bla bla bla etc
Energy which I claim is another word for God, has been responsible for the creation of matter from itself, because it was there, it felt the need or the necessity at some stage to transform some of itself into something, and hey presto! we are all here ! God bless you all!

Now you are moving the goalposts or desperately clutching at straws
we all know energy exists, you can't just rename energy "god" to prove there is a god ffs

So when I fart all that energy I emit is god? Have I got that right?

Ah, so that's why the Catholics burn all that incense in their churches.

Why don't they? Why do they give it an age if it isn't true?

So the believers have seen their argument reduced from 'god is a man in the sky, author of the bible, watcher of mastur baters, giver of eternal life' to 'god is an unknown thing that is somehow responsible for the beginning of the universe'. pmsl.
