Its pretty inconceivable the press wouldn't have known where the pm was based ie at Alli’s flat, so the argument he was protecting his family is a bit weak. More likely he wanted somewhere more convenient to run his campaign, but he could have done that by staying home alone. He should introduce legislation to regulate the press camping outside politicians houses for days weeks or even months. Its a form of stalking. And then stick a rocket up ofcom for not regulating the tv media properly.

But the press camped outside his home would have been sufficient distraction for someone studying.
And the press would not be camped outside Starmer's home to catch a glimpse of his son.
So by relocating himself, Starmer relocated the press also.
 
Ali's flat is very likely fully equiped for producing good videos. The kit for doing this is by no means cheap. This would explain early use.

Starmmer is well protected as leader of the opposition and then PM. The press are more of a nuisance because they build up a dossier on the private lives of public figures and their families to be used in anger if or when necessary.

If there was any truth in the article, which I doubt, it proves that Lord Ali had enormous influence in UK's foreign policy during the Tories debacle, so why would he bother about a few thousand pounds of gifts to Keir Starmer.
Maybe he donated thousands of pounds worth of clothing to Cameron. :rolleyes:
 
So the key question is what is the open secret within Westminster about Keir Starmer?
