Well it seems in England at least our big numbers aren't as big as first thought. I couldn't work out the stark differences between regions close to the borders. However, this explains it.

It looks like PHE will log you as a Covid death, even if you are fully recovered, discharged and then die from something else. This is in contrast to how everyone else reports Covid related deaths, with a time limit on time of death from positive test. With the PHE method, eventually 100% of people who have tested positive for Covid, are defined as covid related death, even if they are killed fit and healthy in a car accident. seems a bit dumb to me and has probably damaged our economy and world standing.
