Thats only when in England. When at home, its AFC Mecca!
Mohammed in goal, mohammed at right back, muhammed at left back. Then theres the two centre backs mohamed and mohammed. Then theres their midfed general abu hamza mohammed. Star striker MohammedEtc etc etc.

i don't believe in god ---how can he exist with all the starvation and evil in the world
i do however look after my friends family an neighbours without reserve because its reality without pretense
i sometimes think the so called "wise men" who decided what the rules there followers must abide by have enjoyed a few mushrooms or some "acid " giving them a feeling off holier than thou
i do believe they should have allowed the women in there lives a fair input then there "rules "would make a lot more sense and be more practical

That's the old 'get out clause' often quoted by religious people: 'God gave us free will'. That, of course, explains why all the bad things are our own fault, yet all the good things are down to God! The Church can't lose, can it?

Personally, I regard all religions as little different from the old Pagan ways. In those days, they worshipped trees and such like; today, they worship an invisible being. Big difference!

That's an interesting observation which, on the face of it, is true.

But I'm sure somebody somewhere will tell you that God, whoever or whatever he/she/it may be, could easily have invented things we weren't allowed to do just to see how we would react. (I could list several for starters - with sauce and pickles to follow.) In other words, maybe 'God' is just having a bit of fun at our expense.

I prefer a simpler explanation. Blasphemy was invented to protect those who wrote the rules, claiming them to have come from 'God'. After all, religion is a source of immense political power. Having a supernatural entity on your side is so much easier than waving swords around - and certainly easier than winning elections - but you can't afford to have some upstart suggesting that 'God' might not exist can you.

Mind you, there have been instances of people bad-mouthing Allah and being rubbed out for their trouble.

I rest my case.

Which women did you have in mind: the ones they married, the ones they employed to scrub the floors or the ones they used for sex? :?: :?: :?: I doubt that any of them would have been allowed any input to the 'rules' beyond choosing the wallpaper. :( :( :(
