Boat illegals up under Labour.

Motorbiking stop deflecting and answer this

If it’s legal why did Priti Patels Nationality and borders bill going to include provisions for giving immunity to prosecution from deaths arising due to push backs?
Is it not obvious?

Push backs legal, drowning people you rammed at sea. Not legal.

I think it’s fairly obvious that the skipper would not be accountable for someone sinking their vessel by ramming them.

But had he been denied entry to territorial waters and chose to enter anyway in an unsafe, unseaworthy vessel, yes he has liability.

Telling a skipper to turn around because he is denied entry and taking necessary steps to ensure he did so is perfectly legal.

Really. Malicious action too ?

Doesn't sound like he would be in control of the safety of those around him.

If any boat I was in was deliberately rammed by anybody I would be pushing that the person responsible was accountable for their actions

Or don't rules apply at sea

How is it Malicious?

Vessel you are denied entry to U.K. territorial waters. Please turn back.

Vessel if you continue you will be forced to turn back.

Tugboats push boats all the time.

Yes it’s obvious pushing back a boat that’s barely seaworthy could and would result in drownings

Border force agents feared being prosecuted, so there’s no chance of them doing push backs

That sounds deliberate dangerous action to me.

Obviously it's ok to ram into other boats at sea. How often do you do it and nobody minds ?

So is shooting someone with a taser or hitting them with a metal stick. But the police will do it too if you fail to comply with their lawful instructions.

The coastal state has the power to take necessary steps to prevent those who’s passage is not innocent. I’ve posted the relevant international law.

Because they are separate legal matters.

Nothing stops them from being rescued.

And they know the passage is innocent without checking ?

So how many boats do you ram into without anybody complaining ?
