United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS)

Article 25

Rights of protection of the coastal State

1.The coastal State may take the necessary steps in its territorial sea to prevent passage which is not innocent.
2.In the case of ships proceeding to internal waters or a call at a port facility outside internal waters, the coastal State also has the right to take the necessary steps to prevent any breach of the conditions to which admission of those ships to internal waters or such a call is subject.
3.The coastal State may, without discrimination in form or in fact among foreign ships, suspend temporarily in specified areas of its territorial sea the innocent passage of foreign ships if such suspension is essential for the protection of its security, including weapons exercises. Such suspension shall take effect only after having been duly published.

According to the current UK deportation law, there are two common ways in which an individual may be required to leave the country – through voluntary departure or forced deportation.

No mention of push backs

If it’s legal why did Priti Patels Nationality and borders bill going to include provisions for giving immunity to prosecution from deaths arising due to push backs?

what do you think paragraph 1 means.

who - the coastal state
what - the necessary steps
why - to prevent passage that is not innocent.

is it so hard?

Notchy lad, you've got the data, all of it. Stop spinning around you are making us all dizzy.
Poor Motorbiking, let me help you.

You are using the figures based on “forced removals”
How many forced removals do you count is it

Labours announcement stated deportations….not the same thing

Now off you go and have a jolly good read of your table and come back with yer tail between yer legs :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

We are paying the Fr large amounts, yet on a sunny day there are dozens (iirc) of the boats not being stopped. The Fr are pretending to be concerned . They have a few patrols for the cameras

Worse than that. Seems there is a lot of collaboration (not the first time for The French) going on. They're relaying the migrants' boats from French waters/authorities to Border Farce so they can escort them here.
