I don't want freedom of movement of people from the EU, except for Irish citizens
Who says there is going to be a border set up.?
Interesting, not that I understand your pointless post. The same conversation just pumps around and around.
Then you must have border controls to verify that would-be entrants are permitted to cross the border.

The bus crosses into NI.
You have no border controls so you have let them all in.
That's what you want is it? It's not what you said earlier.
Would you let them in if they arrived on a ship at Dover? Or a plane at Heathrow? Or Aldergrove?
Answer my question about the bus.
Which ones will you let in?
You will have to include the similar agreement between England and Portugal as well. 'Enjoyed' since 1387.No I don't want freedom of movement of people from the EU, except for Irish citizens, a freedom they've enjoyed since the 20's, and will continue to enjoy in the future as agreed by the Irish Govt, the UK Govt and the EU, as confirmed by those parties just a few months ago.

If the decision was up to me?
My point was, as I said, England and Portugal have had a similar agreement since 1387.
That's an agreement not to go to war with each other and provide help in times of need. What's that got to do with free movement?

How can you tell which person, coming from Ireland, is entitled to have freedom of movement? Why must you?
