Why would a court grant an order after the fact? What am I missing?

Why would a court grant an order after the fact?

They didn't. Parents didn't agree with hospital over treatment withdrawal. Parents exhausted second and third opinion process. Hospital applied to Court to proceed with treatment withdrawal. Court date given at a future date. Patient deteriorated. Parents applied and obtained two emergency telephone hearings. Judge agreed with hospital. Treatment withdrawn. Patient died.

Oh good, ceres has come back.

Has he answered the vital question yet?

So what do you claim happened on the actual day?

What do you believe the father did that justified the police dragging him from his dying daughter's bedside?

You are noticably reluctant to think up an answer.

Come on, you've had nearly a week to try and think of a convincing excuse.

What is it?

No he hasn't.

So there is a further possibility of contempt of court. If he had tried to prevent the hospital from withdrawal

How can you be in 'contempt of court' in advance of an actual court hearing?

And if you didn't notice before...

"He was not charged and no action has been taken against him."

So as has been said before, what law was he breaking?

All this does is to reinforce the fact that the state/'authority' has more control over your life (and death) than your family!
