I see those that easily exhaust their reasoned arguments quickly fall back to insults and abuse, again.
Ah bless.

Himmie is wrong as usual, but isn't man enough to admit it, so he plays the 'insult' card. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Can you not debate the issue instead of resorting to whataboutery and insults?

A reminder of the claim that UK has best benefits for illegal migrants/asylum seekers
Germany, for instance, grants monthly allowances of up to €354
https://www.dw.com/en/asylum-benefits-in-the-eu-how-member-states-compare/a-44298599

Compared to your information
Yes: Asylum support:
Cash support
You’ll get £37.75 for each person in your household. This will help you pay for things you need like food, clothing and toiletries.

So the argument that UK offers the best benefits is busted.

I see, so you havent got an answer -those links dont provide any distinction.
An asylum seeker is a type of migrant and may be a refugee, a displaced person, but not an economic migrant.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asylum_seeker

Illegal immigration refers to the migration of people into a country in ways that violate the immigration laws of that country
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_immigration
Asylum seekers are not violating the immigration laws of the country.

I never made that argument.

Changing the argument is another favorite way of you admitting you are wrong

I don't think that's an oxymoron.
Is it not? I would have thought that a statement claiming 'not to have made that argument', coupled with a comment about, 'changing an argument is a way of avoiding you are wrong', is a typical oxymoron.
But we can agree to disagree, if you wish.
Or we can go on, and on, and on discussing the extremely minor details about what each word means, if you want.

Or in other words an asylum seeker is an illegal immigrant that is claiming asylum.

Gosh, what a convoluted way to admit you are wrong :ROFLMAO:

You said illegal immigrants cant claim any benefits, they can, you are wrong.

its simple eh George :p

Go on then, enlighten us

Whats the difference?
Asylum seekers state their wish to remain in the UK...

Illegal immigrants don't and try to stay 'under the radar'...

Such a simple concept that even you might be able to understand the difference...

Or maybe not!
