Some woman on the news just now is so disgusted over the caper
She has torn up her party membership card
blimey
Oh the faux offence and revulsion is actually quite amusing.
It was probably her free bus pass. The press have done a fantastic job at finding outraged oldies and people whose parents died on the day of the 'party' or went into a care home just before the 'party' and they never saw them again before they died. If only those filthy Tory's hadn't had that party, my 112 year old mum would still be alive. What a complete and utter load of b****x.

You very clearly don't get it...
It’s really not faux offence.
listening to Eddie Mair this afternoon there were men and women ringing in, in tears talking about how they lost loved ones and weren’t able to see them.
I know, it's tragic. But WTF has that got to do with a small 'gathering' at number 10 if indeed it did happen, the nursing homes were closed to visitors for a huge period of time, most hospitals wouldn't allow visitors. A 'gathering' at number 10, if it happened, would not have changed any of these losses or events, their loved ones would still have died and they still wouldn't have been able to see them. I'm not trying to be cruel Notch I'm just trying to put things in perspective.
Starmer has stated that Johnson is taking people for fools
blimey did he just work that out
No you are using a strawman argument.
Nobody is saying their loved ones wouldn’t have died.
What people are incredibly angry about, is that the public did the right thing and followed the rules…..but Tory MPs ignored the rules and had a party….if you can’t see that, you are just blindly making excuses for this appalling govt.
That's what sickens me too. Yes, the 'party', if it turns out to be true, is bad enough and would have had no effect on those that died on that day but the making light of it shows a total disrespect for those that were affected by the rules they ignored. I think she realises that now. Resigning was the right thing to do and it did seem to me to be a genuine apology.I can understand the outrage over Allegra Stratton making light of it, she was right to resign.
I was about to give you a thanks, until the second half of your last sentence. That's what sickens me too.
