Classic Proof of Lying Government

Not that the (despicable) party was of the same order, but..

Operation Yewtree was organised to investigate Saville almost 12 months after his death.
Yet a party at a "secure" building that requires ID cards and is surrounded by armed police cannot be investigated because it was too long ago?

It would appear that Johnson has been

economical with actual alleterre :)

Stop making straw man arguments.

After the initial denial the video of Stratton proved there was some party that took place.

The point is they broke the rules which they themselves created and expected the public to adhere to.

Boris corruption is now infecting the MET. There are logs and police presence at no10 - you can't get in without an invite - so on that date and time they would have known who was present.

On top you don't think they would have expensed the cost of wine and cheese.

There are reports of a secret santa and that it was arranged a week in advance - again if you know who attended then you can ask for their whatsapp chats.

The MET job is to investigate and then decide whether there is enough evidence.

Look at the anger when Rita Ora broke the rules and the MET spent weeks investigating her.

The MET has just ruined what little respect they had left.
The video of Stratton does not prove that a party took place. It proves that they were making jokes about a party taking place, but i agree that it is likely that a party did take place. They may have been poking fun at the rules at the time in the video, as there certainly was all sorts of stuff being said in the media about the loopholes in the rules at the time, like having calling parties business meetings etc, but it looks very bad.

The joking is in itself disrespectful and arrogant and i was pretty sickened when i saw it. Considering all the sacrifices people were making at the time, it was arrogant and insensitive.

I've not been a Boris supporter specifically, but i have been a Tory supporter for years. However, i've got to the point where i think Boris has to go. Boris clearly isn't up to the job of leading a government. He's a good front man, but good leaders build a team around them with people in place who offset their weaknesses and they set an example for people to follow. Boris just isn't doing that.

I don't regret voting Tory at the last election as the Corbyn alternative would have been an utter disaster for the country in my opinion. But i do regret voting for Boris as leader of the Conservative party.

That's like saying somebody that pleads guilty of a crime in court does not mean they actually did it. I guess, it could be true. Just very very unlikely.

no

he has mentioned johnson's lying, dishonesty and contempt before

but you weren't listening.
Nor was 80% of the population. They only believe he can tell porkies about some things.
