Climate change.

It was volcanic activity. That's not the case today. Did you look at the map that I posted?

Can you answer the question? (He won't)

Yes, he will.

Man is only a tiny speck scratching at the surface of the earth. The effect of consuming any natural resources we find will be infinitesimally small when related to the size and age of the planet.
As a species, we still like to think we are omnipotent, but we aren't and we can't change the planet either by design or mistake.
The planet will still be changing, as it always has, long after we have disappeared.

How then? You can't just refuse to see sense and say 'It's all magic'.

Now tell us what's causing it. (he won't).

It was volcanic activity.

Who says? The 'experts'?

This time next year, received wisdom will be that increased sun-spot activity caused the ice to melt.
And the year after, it'll be something else.

Governments have given scientists all over the world millions to prove that man-made climate change exists, just so that they can justify taxes on fossil fuels to make it look as though they are doing something to solve a problem which they thought exists but doesn't.

But we KNOW it isn't sun spot activity. We weren't there with measuring device last time - but this time we are. We've eliminated the impossible - only man made activity remains.

Oddly, you'd rather believe in magic. You are starting to come across as a bandwagon crackpot. Bet you say you are an atheist too - that's another bandwagon to jump on.

There's over 7 billion.
And they do a lot more than scratch the surface.

The effect of consuming any natural resources we find will be infinitesimally small when related to the size and age of the planet

So why has there been droughts in Russia decimating crops and 12 months of continuous rain here in the UK decimating crops.
And also why was there frost at night right up until June and snow on the mournes?

Why is the field next to my home sitting with the crops rotting on the surface?

And also why was there frost at night right up until June and snow on the mournes?

And we call that 'global warming'?

No climate change.

Yes, your right. I forgot that 'global warming' was yesterday's term. When they found it wasn't getting as hot as they thought. they moved the goal posts and called it 'cimate change'. That's actually a good term for the scientists/politicians/green industry because it can mean anything you want it to mean.
So, if the earth hots up, its climate change. But if the earth cools down, that's also climate change. Brilliant ruse.

It makes climate more extreme. Extra hot, extra cold etc. Why don't you do some reading before coming on here talking bolex cuz it's a new band wagon you've just jumped on.

Now tell me. Are the ice caps melting? Yes or no?

Then what is it? Everything else has been ruled out except human influence.

Who know's and who cares,if those supposedly in the know put it down to human activity when did we start to have an influence, was it back when the industrial revolution was happening when those dark satanic mills were pumping out their ****e.(perhaps this is what Blake meant).

The reason we are getting extremes of weather is because the temperature at the north pole has risen.
That drives the extremes of cold weather southward to our location.
Scientists already know this as do the farmers.

You talk about extra trade when the north pole ice disappears.
Well it certainly won't be argricultural produce. Maybe you can sell ice to the eskimoos.

There's lots of people like you living in your shell inside the city where you never see the effects of climate change apart from when you traisp off to spain for a holiday where you know it gets hotter.

Look - face facts. So-called man-made climate change is a myth.
It's just one of the myriad of imaginary worries that man as a species has to keep dreaming up.

So what you're saying is we can burn every last drop of oil, burn every chunk of coal, chop down every last tree and burn all the gas since the dinosaurs and it will have no effect?

Will it have an effect or not?

Can you answer the question? (He won't)
You seem convinced that CO2 is culprit. How do you explain the fact that whilst CO2 has risen dramatically over the last 13 years temperature rise has been flat and actually has slightly dipped? Climate scientists have been a bit panicky about it for a year or two now and were pinning their hopes on a reversal. But the May figures are in now and the dip continues, which was a bugger. Any ideas?
