Great reading list here for an alternative perspective to the alarmist narrative presented in the mainstream media. For those who are interested in seeing other viewpoints. Those who are not interested or intend to start attacking the authors, no need to do so. Simply take it or leave it. This is intended to be helpful to those who are interested, that is all.

here is the IPCC summary for policymakers 2021

Human influence has warmed the climate at a rate that is unprecedented in at least the last 2000 years

Changes in the land biosphere since 1970 are consistent with global warming: climate zones have shifted poleward in both hemispheres, and the growing season has on average lengthened by up to two days per decade since the 1950s in the Northern Hemisphere extratropics (high confidence).

When Berty says "for those interested in seeing other viewpoints"

what he means is: viewpoints based no misinformation and lies

Solving the Climate Puzzle: The Sun’s Surprising Role - Javier Vinos
when Berty says "other viewpoints" he means: fossil fuel sponsored:

Javier Vinos: doctor of philosophy

Javier Vinos is a member of the fossil fuel propaganda group CO2 Coalition

this is the observed reality in contrast to Javiers nonsense

It's equally interesting surely that climate denialism is exclusively a right-wing delusion, with no basis in academic research, but much in fossil-fuel funding and anti-left hysteria

cherry picked data and out of date

that covers the period From February 2016 to February 2018

Gas112 has the cooling continued in the last 6 years?
thought cherry picking would suit you but unless the authors are time travellers how would they have known what the future 6 years held.
And are you not just cherry picking the past century against the millenia of earths history before hand

Out of interest, what do the alarmist posters actually want to happen and how do they expect it to be achieved? Even if the entire UK population and its economy are erased, it will make little difference to the global picture, with the pace other countries, like China and India, are developing - and they don't seem to care about net zero. They are simply gobbling up the industries that close down here under the burden of legislation and taxation. So what do you propose to solve the grave problem you believe exists?

Also, what are you doing in your own lives in response to your stated beliefs? Are you giving up your cars and heating systems, and plastic products and all the other consumer luxuries you rely on, along with phones and computers? If not, then isn't your behaviour hypocritical? If you really do lack integrity in this way then why should we listen to anything you have to say on this or any other subject?

That is an absurdly stupid analysis. Picking two years and trying to draw a trend?

And using the warmest year ever to state that the second and third hottest years were evidence of cooling (all in the last three years) is just absurd. Was that an April fools article?

We should be taxing carbon more heavily and using that to subsidise energy saving measures targeted at lower income groups. Building standards should be improved to require a much higher standard of energy efficiency.

We should be planning for the managed decline in fossil fuel use and scaling up onshore and offshore wind as well as interconnectors to places like Spain and even Morocco.
