Wolves v Liverpool- 1975/76. Last game of season. Wolves had to win to stay up and Liverpool had to draw to win league title.
(Kevin Keegan had dark hair then).

Pay on the door- as it was everywhere then.
Night game .

Absolutely manic at the gates- 'cry came out from turnstiles' ' ground full'- and the wolves turnstile guys tried to close the gate.
Liverpool 'fans' steamrollered it- and burst into the ground--they were even climbing up the walls on knotted scarves to get in.
It was horrible - the place was packed .
Kids were crying and women were afraid and also crying.

Spot the link !!.

Boris Johnson is pretty quiet about things now (lookup his views in the SUN). (for obvious reasons).
Nobody in Liverpool buys the Sun newspaper anymore -- .
Go figure !!

Dont know about the game Liverpool played at Wolves but all the big games in the 70s/80s was manic as I was at elland road quite a bit ....but oddly enough I remember going to Wolves in mid 70,s with the Leeds supporters and there was some demolition going on at the side of the ground and we was hammered with bricks from the demolition by hundreds, yes hundreds of the local scumbags and there was alot of kids crying...tbh honest dont remember any women being there, and quite a few guys off our coach missed the game to get stitches.
As for that rag you are talking about....FFS I did not think anybody on here would readit never mind lookup his views...I really thought that folk who read that rag could not have the brains to use a pc or put a sentence together but he-ho there you go....
As for the reason nobody in Liverpool buys that rag I think you really need to know why they wont buy especially now that it has been in the news for the last week for telling lies.
I think you need to educate yourself on matters before posting comments.

Boris Johnson is a educated idiot......why do you think he is called Boris the buffoon.......a pure fool in motion , so it would take another fool to digest anything he says.

What Boris said- is scousers THRIVE on a disaster. Thats a fact- Mr Know nothing .
That's what got him into trouble . The scousers fed off it for ages and ages..
Regarding the police -- I am not a fan of the police for certain reasons--however- It's only a few bad apples who spoil the bunch .
Lots of policemen and women are normal decent peole and they do a ok job.
They are trained to follow orders though - and if they dont- they are 'gone'.
They really have a lot to put up with and they do their best .
Ever wondered why Liverpool insurance premiums are amongst the highest in the UK ???.

You know nothing at all Mr know nothing- so unless you have some 'FACTS' -- Button it and go bug someone else .

Has not Boris just apologised for what he said??
Scousers thrive on disaster...what a stupid comment...the families of the ones who died at Hillsborough have exposed one of the biggest cover ups in the UK
and you are saying they thrive on disaster.....FFS
Also being abusive behind a keyboard   ....if I met you we could have our own war of the roses.
Go and put your clogs on and read the rag
Not abusive at all--just stating facts. Written in the press facts and on ITN news.

Regarding you meeting me- I wouldn't recommend it at all- unless you want to be drinking soup from a straw for a few months .Barnsey chops would be off your menu for even longer (unless you liquify them).
Not wise to threaten people you dont know or have not seen buddy.

Where are these facts you state in the press and ITN news ....scousers thrive on disaster and you say thats a fact.......please,please post a link...the press and especially a the rag you read has just been exposed as the biggest liars going but you say facts?
I am not sure what Liverpool insurance premiums has got to do with it but snico has just corrected you on facts.
I have very good friends from Yorkshire who have been following Liverpool since the 70,s and one who is a really close friend was at Hillsborough and he always told the " TRUTH" of what happened that day and it really affected him but when he saw the smear campaign from the press, police, coroner, ambulance services ,fa,ect, ect exposed he and me also was highly delighted....but people like yourself will never accept the real truth and have as many sly digs as possible.... As you can see I am from Yorshire so have no ties to Liverpool or its club I hate injustice to any person/persons by anybody and the hillsborough was a injustice on a massive scale but to see sarcastic comments by yourself and another person I wont mention on here disheartens me.

I was at that Wolves Liverpool game too, 3 late goals wins us the league and sends them down. niiice.
How many years did it take for them to scrape their way back up again?
No wonder that silly pr*ck hates Liverpool.
For the record I couldn't see many wolves fans in molyneux, it seemed like scousers everywhere you looked.
Most of their wonderful fans had sold their tickets. sh*tbags.

Typical scouser comment.
Gizza job.

As for the fans bursting the gate, yeah there were a lot of fans there that night, mostly Liverpool. But that stadium was decrepit even by the standards of the day, so it probably didn't take much bursting.
Trouble was a bit like the wolves fans that night, I didn't see much of either.

You wouldn't see much with a few sherberts inside you anyway.
As for wolves going down that year- no big deal- they went down- took ages to go up and now back down again.
What position are Liverpool in right now ? go on- remind me :D
King (miserable face) Kenny has gone .
Shanks is a memory.
How come they never have a proper scouser at the helm apart from Joe F ?.?.
I'll tell you why -- they cant find one to trust with the keys to the trophy cabinet.
This time next year- Liverpool will be inChampionship anyway .

Back to original subject.
At the end of the day there are always 3 sides to every argument.
His/her side/ hers /his side and finally the Truth.
Birmingham 6/ toxteth 10/ Corrie 1/ etc etc .
As long as they keep appealing- a result to appease them is guaranteed..
The police are not angels- they make mistakes all the time and it affects peoples lives forever. This is a result of plastic policemen and women who are too young and too inexperienced in life to handle a major incident.
On the other hand- human emotions affect the truth the real truth especially from those who are affected by the loss of a loved one .
It becomes a obsession for them.

The facts are - a lot of innocent people lost their lives and it is very sad.
The hard truth is- those scrotes who were there - the ones who pushed and pushed evryone to the barriers have a lot to answer for .
They know who they are -but will never admit it .
They will forever deny it and the longer they deny it the more they will believe they did nothing wrong.
The policen/women who are now making damaging statements against their 'former workmates' !! are mostly on disability benefits etc etc .Stress post traumatic stress etc .
If they were SO affected by it all- why did they not take a step forward and be counted years ago ????????????.
Benefits and 'compo' come to mind.
What price a life huh ??.

If the scousers did not push everyone into a crush - the situation would not have happened .
ANYONE who has ever been to a football match WILL know what I am talking about .
Watch this space now- everyone and evryone will be jumping on the 'ATTENTION' bandwagon. Take a guess where they all will be from .

Peter, I've already asked how many Liverpool fans were in the ground without tickets. No one can answer, save for saying that Forest fans got in without tickets too.
You can bet that any Liverpool fan who was there that day and entered Hillsborough Stadium without a ticket, won't ever be in a hurry to put their hand up and be counted.

Pay on the door?.....strange considering it was a sell out and ticket game only, but you know best

"By 5.45pm it was clear that Molineux was already full for the 7.30pm kick off. The Liverpool fans smashed the gates open at the South Bank End and a few hundred fans gained entry, but the stewards and Police soon stopped the flow of people into the ground and the queue stopped moving.

By 6.45pm we gave up hope of getting in and set off for home. There were still dozens of coaches arriving from Liverpool. There was no way any of those fans would have got in, unless they had Stand seat tickets. This was of course a time when the vast majority of the capacity of most grounds consisted of pay on the day terracing. The official attendance was 48,900, but there must have been at least 10,000 locked out that night. So we had to settle for listening to the game on the car radio on the way home."

Liverpool where allocated tickets for that game, not pay on the door....dont see any mention of the thousand of QPR fans who turned up though?.......wonder why?

QPR fans ?
What planet are you on ?.
Take a tip- when you get your unemployment handout- dont spend it all on booze in one day --or- if you do- stay off the computer. Thicko.

After all the evidence it's still 'guilty until proven not scouse' for some...

But even then there will a ignorant lynch mob... ;)
