If you look at the date.....it says 08, we are now in 2012, I have not been a police officer for about 2 years now.

Glad to know you are keeping tabs on me though, I feel safer now.

Obviously you dont read or watch the news so let me enlighten you the inquiry found the fans were in no way to blame)

Just like the Irish vote on the EU.. Keep on doing it until you get the answer your looking for.
This isn't the first enquiry into Hillsborough, and I doubt it will be the last.
Did Liverpool ask for another enquiry into Heysel, when the findings of that enquiry found Liverpool fans were to blame for that tragedy? (and don't bring up the fact that Juventus fans were just as bad. The final score was Liverpool fans 0 Juventus fans 39)

Difference is......the authorities, the FA, the government...have all admitted responsibilty. You can take your anti Liverpool glasses off and read the report.

Stick to chopping wood you havn't a clue you've proved that over and over in your previous posts on the subject  .

Remember too, that most of the people who now work for the FA, the authorities and the government, (who have apparently admitted all of this) didn't actually work for the FA, the authorities, nor were even elected MP's at the time..
Now do you want me to apologise for the English Civil War? or perhaps the Roman conquest of Britain in 55 BC ?

PS, How on earth was it the government's fault? They'll apologise for bloody anything these days as long as it brings them votes.

So joinerjohn do you not blame the police at all for hillsborough?
Do you not think the FA shouldn't have played a cup semi final at a ground without a safety certificate?
Do you not think sheffield wednesday should have spent some money on that end of the ground given the previous near misses?

PS, How on earth was it the government's fault?

It wasn't, but they certainly covered up the failures by their minions at the expense of further blackening the name of a whole area.

If your gullible enough to believe an inquiry thats your choice.

It's the evidence the inquiry has produced that is believable.

Now can you show us your evidence for believing in that god of yours?
Thought not, and you call others gullible.

peterperfection, you're going to have to get over this pathological hatred of scousers son. It's obvious you're sh*t scared of them but if you could only pluck up the courage to visit Liverpool one day you may be surprised.
Well they won't eat you you know.

You'd probably taste like sh*te.

At the end of the day, it's not going to bring anyone back. Some of the victims families are now talking about people being prosecuted. What they actually mean, is they want revenge. Nothing more nothing less. It would serve no purpose now , whatsoever.
The Liverpool fans have been vindicated. They've had an apology from the Prime Minister (who wasn't even an elected MP at the time) Would they feel better if Her Majesty issued a statement from Buck House apologising to, because she was on the throne at the time?

Just what do they want? (compensation? further apologies?, the re-introduction of the death sentence?) Just what will it take to appease the families? (not the whole of Liverpool, I might add)

There was a recent thread on here about "Public Grief" Do the "people of Liverpool" now feel they have the monopoly on this? Seems very much like it to me.

You are talking out of your ar*e.
If your son or daughter had been killed due to the gross negligence of the police, who didn't do the job that they were specifically there to do. If, furthermore you had just found out that they may well have been saved but for the gross negligence of the police again, and the ambulance service.
And if you had also just found out that you were dead rightin saying where the blame lay for the past 23 tyears but had been lied to repeatedly, you'd just move on and forget about it would you. F*CK OFF

I can't believe the sheer stupidity that has gone into this so I'm quoting it for the record.
I'll tell you now, I want to se every bstrd wo was culpable for that tragedy and the cover up nailed to the floor. That's me and I wasn't even there that day, and I lost no family or friends that day. I can only imagine how the families feel. You are a total idiot to come out with that sh*te.

sooey, If my daughter had been killed , simply because some policemen opened a gate into a football ground, and a few?? thousand fans poured in, I'd tend to blame the few?? thousand fans who poured into the ground. Look at the facts. The police outside, had no idea what was happening in the ground. The fans who poured through the open gate, had no idea what was happening.
Surely, these same fans must have realised something was amiss when people started passing fans over their heads to the stand above? But still they poured in. Such is the lure of football (and other major sports events.)

There's absolutely no need for you to insult me.
This is a matter for the families, and the families alone, and as such, I will bow out of this thread, making no further comments.

Enough said. You were not even there, but seek revenge , for some imagined slight against you.
