Yeah, I know keyboard sheep agreeing with each other....if that peterplywood had of been at Hillsborough he would have known the truth and would have been a advocate of the truth but alarm bells started ringing when he quoted a Boris Johnson article from the s@n rag......then it confirmed he was telling lies....a s@n reader who can also use a keyboard......I thought it was impossible due to limited intelligence...and now he has a nodding sheep following him

Me myself I am a yorkshire guy , decent, hard working who is open to a honest debate and believe from day one that the families of Hillsborough victims was stitched up,later to be unstiched... I have very good friends who travel from yorkshire to the Liverpool games and one very close friend who was there that day and it has changed him and broke his heart when the smear campaign started and he has been behind the justice campaign since it started and that it is why I support it, but another reason I support it because there has been a great miscarriage of justice which I want to see put right...but then again I got brought up into a decent hard working family who believes in the truth and justice and was to see things done correctly.

Its obvious what type of people read the sun, its usually tucked down the side of the sofa as they are sat watching Jeremy Kyle becasue they have no jobs to go to.....or they sit behind their keyboards spouting off rubbish to get a reaction as they have little man syndrome.

Why were the 'fans' penned in at Hillsborough? because British 'fans' had been behaving like animals for about 15 years prior to this and couldn't be trusted to behave unless caged like animals.
Did the police management lose control on this day having to make a split second decision and being damned if they did and damned if they didn't yes of course they did. What would you have done? Would it have been 'better' if people had been crushed outside the gate that was opened to relieve the crush? I still can't see thats theres any mention of whom was doing all this pushing?
Was there a cover up, yes, frightened people do stupid things. Could more lives have been saved, i don't know but if you were on duty and suddenly confronted by a disaster like this and it appears you are the only one there with no leadership or communications i would think you'd be pretty overwhelmed. A standardised time of death 3.15, did they think someone was going round with a stop watch saying oh its 3.15 and 23 seconds, does it matter give or take a couple of minutes dead is dead.

erm.....I think Liverpool apologised for that the week it happened, there is a memorial at Anfield to them fans, and some people also went to jail for it....how many people have gone to jail for killing the 96?
How would the police make a split second decision on something they can see happening over a period of at least 45 minutes. They had cameras all over the ground and outside....what was happening was clear to see to those in charge...yet they did nothing.
What would I have done?...I would have closed the tunnel to pens 2&3 then opend gate C....like had been done at previous games over the years, fans would be then diverted to pens 1&4, like previous games....failure by the police to control a crowd.
41 people could had been saved, almost 40 ambulances where park outside the ground waiting to get in....police refused them telling them fans where fighting, when 20 mins before the police knew people where being crushed.
Some people where still alive at 4pm...since when has a police officer had the authority to declare someone dead, without checking a pulse, seeking medical advice....then covering the bodies and moving them to an area for the deceased...some people where still alive, that is an absolte disgrace and someone should be prosecuted for that.

Sooey, snico, capt, bodge.... your fighting a lost cause with norcon, arse, peterperfection &joe90. Their aim is to get this thread locked and norcon in particular has had some it's comments removed. I was appalled by one of norcons comments, and Im sure it's proud of that.
As a Luton Town fan, I now have the pleasure of sitting in conference league grounds, but 25 odd years ago it was a lot different. I was at Kenilworth Road when Millwall wrecked it when I was 11 (with my Uncle and my best friend at middle school).My friend had to go to hospital with a cracked skull.... as did I with a fractured collar bone. My uncle was arrested for trying to stop Millwall fans doing more damage. My friend was stamped on the head by a Millwall fan, my collar bone was broken by an officer on a horse outside the ground trying to heard all the home fans away. It was quite common place to be 'forced' to move in a certain direction even if you did not want to, and with broken bones. This was policing at football in the 80's. I have no proof, but I am sure fans were 'herded' in the same way hence the crush. I was 11 years old, had been to 2 games before, and was scared on that evening. Very scared. What did I do wrong?
This is just my view, but viewing the fans as the catalyst in my opinion is incorrect, no matter how much you dislike another football team.
