Covid - how long to test positive for?

Why do care so much about this?

Me personally? Not an awful lot. However, the greater population want to know why some people are so frightened of the vaccine that they turn to quack web sites that the KNOW spread fake news, then dangerously repeat their bile wherever they can.

By asking a typically frightened liar certain questions, one can find out whether its just their prejudice or whether it applies to all medicines.

All medicines are new. They are developed frequently.

Out of all the new medicines, what bothers you about the Covid vaccine? Its been administered more than 13 BILLION times and is ridiculously safe. What scares you so much about it?

If they don't block transmission then isn't that an admission that they don't work as you'd come to expect them to work.
There would have been something to say if you get a measles jab and you start spreading it around same with other vaccines.
I noticed he says next time we shouldn't f*ck up and produce one that stops transmission then they can have the two tier society they were after, whereby the unvaccinated are discriminated against from flying, work, ect ect.

'Saving your life' is up there with the reasons for taking it. So is 'harmless'.

Etc, etc.

It should have been a requirement at the time for people on the front line in touch with patients.

Why if it didn’t stop you catching it or transmission of the virus ?

Because the science at the time was that being vaccinated reduced severity of any illness, and therefore time away from work.
NHS with even fewer staff = fewer patients being treated = worse outcomes for some patients.

My personal experience of NHS staff: for each staffer proclaiming their right to not be vaccinated, there were many multiples imploring people to be vaccinated.
To a degree, both groups were "appealing to emotion" - the anti-vaxxers, their personal freedoms: the vaxxers, citing wards of those clinging to life - so the general public were left to sift the information, or read entrails, or whatever was their preferred "research" route.

IMHO, this whole "debate" is classic confirmation bias (example, above).

Pretty obvious really. People on here like to believe the official line is the only line, when these jabs first arrived on the scene they were hailed as the saviour, that didn't go to well did it when you could still transmit the virus.
You see that as a 'so what' strange very strange.

So it's like a guessing game on when we think they might be telling us the truth.
Trouble with that is the boy who cried wolf comes into play and we're living that experience now.
