EV Charger Safety

The "Charger" for your EV is in the vehicle itself.

That which is often called a wall "Charger" is simply a "device" which communicates with the EV Charger in the vehicle to tell the "Charger" in the Vehicle what is the maximum current the Vehicle can "draw" from the available supply.
...and this device on the wall is usually referred to as a chargepoint, or, if you want to be fancy, an EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment).

I got lucky in that I do have an EV charger on the wall, but that's a WOKUF (whole other kettle of unicorn feathers)

It is correctly called an EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment).

You have a DC rapid chargepoint on your wall?
