Expanded ULEZ

Easy, cheap, reliable, regular.

Until public transport becomes this, people will not be seriously tempted to reduce car use.

Public transport will never give the same benefits as using a private vehicle, but the closer they get, the more they will be used.

Other countries have implemented changes to the public transport networks and have achieved a large take-up. Why is the UK languishing towards the bottom of the table?

Tip to the authorities, try ploughing the income from congestion/ clean air charges into making improvements in public transport networks.

I think you have just tried to prove something though
You got me wrong.
If I'm driving in my lane, minding my own business and a boy racer starts tailgating me, sometimes even flashing, like I can take off and go over other cars, I think they need a lesson.
Then they find a gap, they overtake, cut in front of me only to brake hard to avoid a crash, they've gained one lenght.
That's when the boy racer needs to understand that their loud cheaply modified corsa is just a piece of junk.
So the road opens up and they push the gas to the floor.
Only to see a stock car overtaking them in a split second and disappear in the distance.
Lesson learn?
I think so.
Deep in their mind they know that unless they get a better box, their 1.2L will never be a racing machine.

No, I think I got you right.

It's not just EV's you race

I don't race EV, what I described in my other post about the Tesla was a bet with my friend who's been conned in leasing a Tesla for 3 years.
Yes, you can say that I "race" if you wish, but I see my actions as a "putting the boy racers in their place".

£65 million bill to the NHS to make their ambulance fleet ULEZ compliant.

It's all for the best.
We will all be better off.
There's a climate crisis.

Every single one of these sentences is fed to us everyday and we, the working class, somehow are the ones paying for it.
In the meantime the emperor of Londinstan goes around in three 5.0L armoured vehicles and 2 marked police cars in a convoy.
Demons are amongst us.
