Agreed.Fact is the barometer used to measure truth.
What you have to remember is that the left on here are so far left that anything even glancing to the middle is considered a Right wing racist who loves Farage and trump - reads the daily mail and loves GB news, voted for brexit, is anti vax and a climate change denier. -- at least.Edit: they were on the left by the way for those confused about what is 'left'
An increasing number of people (granted mainly talking heads on tv) are saying it's not impossible Reform could gain power in 2029 with Farage as PM.
So my question is this. Do you think Farage and Reform are exactly what the UK needs and if so, what are you basing this on? Note I'm not just referring to immigration, would they be good in a wider sense i.e. healthcare, education, energy etc?
Or come 2029, do you think Reform will be lucky to retain their existing number of seats?
That isn't 'left'. It's authoritarians posing as the left. What you have to remember is that the left on here are so far left that anything even glancing to the middle is considered a Right wing racist who loves Farage and trump - reads the daily mail and loves GB news, voted for brexit, is anti vax and a climate change denier. -- at least.
I didn't think Labour supporters were too keen on the hard choices. When The Tories had to use austerity to sort out the mess left to them, those on the left complained about it for years.
Thats leaning to tne left, youll be in 30p Lee’s territory soon.I don't know if Farage and Reform are 'exactly' what the UK needs. I don't see a better party though. In some ways I think they could be highly beneficial in other ways I am concerned.
Just what Far rage and the unelected right wing press have been doing since year dot. Government policy is mor3 tham a few ministers advised by the civil serviceIf they axe the unelected quangos and commissions I spoke about earlier upstream, this is a plus. Nobody should be telling the people what they can and can't do without being voted in.
The state has shrunk massively over the last 14 plus years. It's just another layer of bureaucracy and another way to enlarge the state unofficially.
The view of many right wingersWhat I am worried about is they may want to privatise the NHS. I just cannot get on board with that. I believe the NHS has got top heavy and needs a good prune and reform but I vehemently disagree with it going private.
Right wing drivel not free speech, if gee bee news is anything to go by.I think Reform will be great at returning free speech to the country and I am hopeful they'll kickstart growth in the economy by reducing the size of the state, thus tax and encouraging entrepreneurs back to the UK and encouraging the ones still here.
Re form’s agenda is to trojan horse the torey party to the right.I do believe Reform will likely be in power in 2029, either fully or as a coalition.

'Top heavy' means too many resources at the top ie. bureaucrats, managers and directors on large figured salaries. Our governments pruned the number of hospital beds and increased the number of nursing vacancies.
Cutting spending has not improved the service.
There is nothing here worthy of commenting on but thanks for stopping by.Thats leaning to tne left, youll be in 30p Lee’s territory soon.

I remember when we all voted to remain or leave the EU and I voted to remain. When the results came in that the country voted in favour of leaving I was indignant with shock and then rage. I couldn't believe how this could have happened. Remaining seemed like a done deal according to the BBC and Channel 4 which I and the majority of remainers were getting our news from. I didn't understand because I was completely out of touch. I lived in my liberal leftie bubble and thought everybody thought like me because to be fair all my circle did but boy, how wrong was I.
This thread is giving me those same vibes.
The economy is an oil tanker,
Yeah they were out of touch with the majority and refused to listen to what was important to the electorate whilst calling them 'far right' and worse. It's surprising that the people didn't vote for them really isn't it.The remain campaign was fairly complacent. In my opinion two things tipped the leave vote, Obama interfering, and Dominic Cummings being ahead of the curve on the use of social media.
A situation almost mirrored in the recent US election. The Dems had a massive funding advantage, a huge number of 'celebrity' endorsements and a very 'smiley' candidate.
What could possibly go wrong.
