As I understand it, Couts are legally restricted from publishing the entire reasons why they don’t want him?
Farage has released an edited version of their reasons?

If he sues, doesn’t Couts’ information become public?

Despite the faux outrage by people like Braverman (who ought to understand the law) as said, a bank is entirely permitted to refuse to serve a customer. This can be for any reason, other than those oversee by the Equality legislation.
They can refuse his custom because they don’t like his Sid James laugh.
He was offered an alternative.

I really don't see the issue.

It would be wrong to close an account and stop somebody from banking. But as long as an account is made available that point is moot
How equal would he be if was channeled down to being just a pleb again given so much he's achieved.
Is there no reward anymore, are we all too tug our forelock to the greater good of socialism and communism.?

Believe it or not he is just an equal.

Common knowledge now that he doesn't have the requirements to bank where the big boys bank.

Missed the point again.
Make your point clear then.

I think I've made mine clear. He is just a person that doesn't meet the requirements of a certain bank, and has to bank elsewhere.

He hasn't been stopped from banking

So Coutts didn't need to apologiseto Nige, the BBC didn't need to apologise to Nige for misreporting the story and the planned changes to the banking rules are unnecessary.

That's OK then.

Being rude and impersonal was wrong. I'm not arguing about that bit. He can have his apology. Would yours be public if you were commented about by a bank ?

Planned changes are probably a good thing. It would be wrong to deny a person banking facilities for their views.

But a closure of an account for not meeting their terms is different.

Now filly. Please don't embarrass yourself like you did last night

You're the who couldn't comprehend that inflation rates are based on annual change rather that a monthly one.
Filly stop digging a hole

Let me explain it once more.

Falling inflation means prices are still rising (4 x faster than target), but less than previously.

The prices are not falling. Are you seriously going back in that hole ?

For the avoidance of doubt, this is how filly describes falling inflation

If inflation falls, prices are lower than the preceding month, which is a good thing. The rate of inflation is measured against prices 12 months earlier, so in short, prices are lower (or should be subject to retailers or forecourts passing on the savings) than the previous month but still higher that the same month 12 months prior to that.

Ive never met a “pleb” who's anything like farrage, you're falling for the if it happens to me it can happen to anyone bull. If a bank doesn't accept you, go to another, the blokes a complete drama queen.

The only forelock being tugged is to farrage.

They took a reputational risk based decision to apologise, but crucially they have maintained his exit was based on commercial grounds, and have not offered him his account back, unsurprising given the damage the story has caused them.

The bbc has not apologised.

There is no need whatsoever to change any banking rules. If anything they should be tightened up to protect banks who make bona fide decisions to exit customers on reasonable grounds. If an employee makes political comments that harm his relationship with their employer, they might get the sack, even though their views would be illegal if expressed elsewhere. Same with far-rage, he is entitled to his views but the bank is entitled to protect its reputation.
