There's some story about Brexers trying to smear her because she investigated deceitful, lying, dishonest ex-Prime Minister Johnson, and showed him to be deceitful, lying and dishonest.

BUT SHE LEFT THE LID OFF THE COFFEE JAR, FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still can’t but what’s all this in the news about her thus morning? Something about not declaring she was in talks about a job with Labour?
She broke a rule in the Civil Service Code. That's the rule book for all civil serpents, from the very lowest to the Cab Sec. Move along, nothing more to see. Won't affect her new job, unless Starmer says so.

I would have thought that her role as judge, jury and executioner of Boris would have made it extremely unwise of her to ignore the rules that apply to her.

Or is she of the "Do what I say not what I do" mindset?

Should fit in well in Tony Blair II's mob though.

Gray published in May 22 and was approached by Starmer in October 22. Can anyone write a coherent sentence with a reason why this is not wholly appropriate in the great scheme of things? Does anyone deny* that her breaking the Civil Service Code by talking to Starmer; and being the Report author are completely unrelated?

* I mean rationally, not by recourse to made-up 'evidence'.

So far, her "only one conversation" sounds a lot like "it was a work event". If it didn't matter then why is she so keen to point out that they only chatted once?

We probably need a trusted civil servant to have an enquiry into who said what to who and when. We'll run out of civil servants eventually.

Boris was fooked no matter who looked at the evidence. Even ReeSmogg would have struggled to exonerate the lying idiot.

Because it's true? You seem peeved that she gave evidence to ACOBA, the established Civil Service processes.

There is no evidence saying otherwise.

We are dealing with a trusted professional of high reputation here. That's why she was given the job

Not a notorious dishonest liar like ex-Prime Minister Johnson.

She was at best an investigating judge, parliament was the ultimate jury (Borris’s 2019 majority), as for the executioner borris put his own head on the block by resigning.

Blup
