favourite/ most hated tv adverts???

The toilet tissue ad with the toddler executive "Can't talk now, I'm in the car" as he is being pushed along in his toy motor!

Can't remember what it's for but the one where the girl goes to work a la Audrey hepburn dress in a greasy spoon and it has a bada bada ding ding tune LOL The gay guinea pigs who are just like Justin and Colin (hilarious) on the Egg ad.

I hate the safestyle UK ads - all and every one of them And that car advert where they sing the car noises. I was reading that it took them over 6mths of practice to get those noises right all for a 20 second advert - cost a fortune too

The Bakers complete ads are ace too

two fav ads at the mo. The one where the 2 kids decide to climb the 'north face' (stairs) after the administration of something for a headache and the one for a yogurt I think with Nina Simones 'I got live' the dancing is brill Hairyjon.

I asked hubby about adverts that stuck in his mind.
He says the tune of the old flake adverts still come to mind, you know, only the crumbliest,flakiest choclaaaaaaaaate..... ever tastiest before...

they aren't 'singing', they are moving their mouths while the real sound is dubbed over the top.

Hate to correct you matey but there was a piece in a paper on the weekend about it. I will hunt it out tomorrow and post it up for you. Can't do it now as papers are in en-suite and hubs is in bed

Some times the ads are more entertaining than the programs them selfs

I loved the Smash aliens too. I used to chase my eldest round the house doing the funny voice when he little - used to really make him giggle. Surprised the neighbours didn't phone the men in white coats though hahaha

No that's OK. What I am about to say will come across as rude but it isn't meant that way: I don't care what it says in the paper, I don't believe that they spent lots of money and time when the same effect could be done in a smaller amount of time with lip syncing and over dubbing. How do you know what it says in the paper isn't just a marketing ploy? i.e. "We'll give you £150,000 if you say this this and this". The paper probably believes it's 'real' singing too.
