favourite/ most hated tv adverts???

There's an advert for, lets say Huggies, where it has a toddler and then someone doing the voice, a la Look Who's Talking, and at the end she says something like 'Lets kick that ball' then falls over and says 'Maybe not' - Don't know why but it really makes me smile.

This may be a small point, but there is an advert for Subway and though it is set in an obviously US shopping plaza, it is dubbed into English. The man in it walks past Subway, looks in his wallet and says 'Nightmare ! I haven't got enough for a Sandwich'. A genie voice then says 'Yes you have', a puff of smoke appears from his wallet and he then says that he had the same amount of money as before. Voice over then goes on to explain how you can get a sub from £1.99 upwards.

Now, this works in the states, as he could quite easily be looking at 2 dollar bills in his wallet, which you could be forgiven for thinking isn't enought for a sub, but back here in Blighty, the fact he is looking in his wallet means he must be staring at at least a fiver, which is always enough for a Sandwich, anywhere.

Maybe I'm being oversensitive, but this really bugs me.

johnnyt---if i may ask...is ir because the currency where you are? is the lowest bill you have worth 5 :?: i'm not understanding :(

yes, the smallest paper money note we have is five pounds ( fiver) which would be enough to get a sandwich!

Anything less would be in coins.
I cant think of the ad that johny is talking about but if the guy is looking in his wallet at just notes and not coinage, then he would have at least five pounds.
hope that helped.
