In ya dreams...your anti UK stance is evident for all to see.
You've dared to raise your head, after the hiding that you've been doing all day. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Were you waiting for the support from the scatophiliacs? Couldn't face an adult discussion on your own?:LOL:

Since you went into hiding we, (Bodd, JohnD and I) have been having a sensible adult discussion.
You and transam reappear and the whole discussion goes downhill.

It's just so sad that some, having been brought up on the diet of imperialism and colonisation being for benevolent reasons, have to resort to insults and whataboutery, as a resistance against such enlightenment, when they're nearing a Damascene conversion
So sad that according to you,,the British Empire was much worse than any other, and you cannot move on.You find any opportunity to dig it all up,,whilst agreeing with Bodd it is best to move on..Make your mind up.

 How dare you

How would you propose to mend it?

Other than give the countries their freedom, and continue to support their democratic freedom.
reparation I guess.

sorting out Windrush would be a good thing.

When you can find where I said that I'll have a sensible debate with you.
Until, you'll either duck down and hide, or you'll continue with your strawman arguments.

Now, while we're at it, see if you can answer the question that you so fastidiously avoided yesterday:

What do you think is/was the driving force in the creation of an empire?

I thought windrush was sorted?
:ROFLMAO:
Only 60 people have received Windrush compensation payments during the first year of the scheme’s operation, with just £360,000 distributed from a fund officials expected might be required to pay out between £200m and £500m.

There are numerous problems built into the scheme to deny successful applications.
  1. No possible chance to recover legal fees incurred during the application process for the claimants (only payable in certain circumstances and a £500 limit)
  2. Cost of application limited to certain categories of application (which may cost thousands of pounds)
  3. Applicants must provide proof of an effort to resolve their "illegal" status (a status that they were unaware of prior to their deportation  ), and to have mitigated their losses (for an incident they had no knowledge could possibly occur )
  4. The amount of evidence needed by the claimant reflects the difficulties they had in obtaining the documents in the first place
  5. A voluntary repatriation (as opposed to a forced repatriation)of the victim reduces any compensation by a factor of ten.
  6. Sorry, but not sorry. A clause is included in any award that resolves the UK of any liability due to the illegal repatriation of victims.

No strawman arguments...The only point I made is British/French Empire...both created for same purposes...Both good and bad...Simple...You the duckin & divin expert avoiding that statement.
