The original train of the thread was that the French might be leaving the EU.
Posted by an obsessive brexiteer nutter who can't work out that it ain't gonna happen...

And someone who is still not coming to terms with the fact that they got it terribly wrong when voting to send the UK off the edge of the cliff !

Calm down.

Yep inside every french person is a Brit trying to get out
Which, academic interest aside, is not relevant anyway.
So, again, what is the point you're trying to make?
I can only assume that you're new to this thread.
This was the original train of discussion.
Vinty has since been twisitng and turning trying to prove that most white British people do not have any DNA from the ancestors of modern day Germans. His conflation of ancestry lineage was just one of his twists and turns.
The original train of the thread was that the French might be leaving the EU.
I said the original discussion, which related to the point I was making with Vinty, about British DNA being shared wit Europeans.
I did not claim, nor suggest that that was the original topic of the thread.
As you appear to be insisting on being pedantic and punctilious, and following your latest coment, please allow me to lay out briefly the train of the whole thread for you
Don't you start;it's bad enough with Roy.
Yes the original topic in the OP was about the possibility of France leaving the EU. However that was quickly proved to be a bit of false news and the thread diverted into a few sidetracks. Until transam thought it would be hilarious to make a quip about inside every French person is a Brit trying to get out, which was nothing to do with the original topic. This was about page 4, after lots of silly diversions from the OP's original topic.
I responded to transam's comment with some actual real data, about most white Britons sharing about 30% of DNA with the ancestors of modern day Germans, which Vinty chose to object to. Since then, there's been about six pages of Vinty twisting and turning, trying to prove that modern day Germans are not related to modern day Britons, which was never a claim made in the first place.

Then you came along and picked up on Vinty's conflation with ancestral lineage with genetic similarity of centuries old European migration.
Now we've had a couple of pages of you making remarks, trying to be pedantic and punctilious, when all you've done is demonstrated that you're trying to be pedantic and puntilious, but in fact you're just lost in the twists and turns of the thread.

Sometimes it can be frustrating explaining to people how they're wrong, or lost or confused. At other times it's enjoyable.
Your earlier comments were frustrating because you appeared to be genuinely lost or confused. But as it's become apparent that you're now trying to be pedantic and puntilious, when in fact, you're just wrong, it's become enjoyable to explain it all to you.
You're welcome.
