That's not what I said.... i dispute your claim that British people are genetically 30% German.
with most white British people now owing almost 30% of their DNA to the ancestors of modern-day Germans.
I quoted Vinty's post, which usually indicates I was responding to his comment. To whom is the the above post directed?

That comment was related to ancestry lineage, not anthropological movements of populations....- I was merely questioning what point you're trying to make, when you yourself state that DNA inheritance is "haphazard and random".

I can only assume that you're new to this thread.Which, academic interest aside, is not relevant anyway.
So, again, what is the point you're trying to make?

How the f#ck did you manage to go around the world and post every 3 seconds here???Having spent a large part of this summer in France, (along with a month in the far east, and a couple of weeks back in UK) I can assure you that French people are perplexed or amused why UK went for Brexit. Any suggestion of Frexit receives a "NON! ce serait bizarre!"
Their dominance in the EU receives little consideration, they are far more concerned with domestic politics, just like most populations.
The original train of the thread was that the French might be leaving the EU.
