Fruit farmers have to pay min wage. If you know farmers who don't and take the p out of these people then report them!
I mis-read that as "Fruit farmers have to pay minge wage".
If that was the case, where do I sign up?

Just like Andy11 you cant take it to the next level of debate.
Go on explain how unemployed can be fruit pickers, talk me through how it would work.
Notch there is no next level of debate.
oversimplificationPaying people public money not to work whilst there is work available for them is morally wrong
oversimplificationPlus the insult to those who choose to work for a living being forced by law to pay for those who choose not to work.
yes there is.Continue ad infinitum with your levels, but there is no need for them
it has nothing to do with marxism, stop using tribalism to deflect from the real issues of unemployment which you refuse to discussMarxist drivel does not count.
oh really
so if there are unemployed people in say the North East and there are fruit picking jobs in Kent, you dont think there is a transport and accommodation issue?
also fruit picking is seasonal.
also some unemployed people have children to look after or vulnerable relatives -does the state pay to look after them whilst they are away working?

you are avoiding them because your argument falls apart as soon as the details are discussed
it has nothing to do with marxism, stop using tribalism to deflect from the real issues of unemployment which you refuse to discuss
you need to think beyond your knee jerk emotive response to unemployment and think deeper.
they already would be -if jobs are available in those areas, then job seekers will apply for themAre you saying the unemployed can't be used in part to help solve a problem?
Notch there is no next level of debate. Paying people public money not to work whilst there is work available for them is morally wrong and just plain stupid. Bringing people from overseas means that for every turnip, you are paying one person to pick it and another person not to pick it; plus the cost, financially and to the environment, of international travel. Plus the insult to those who choose to work for a living being forced by law to pay for those who choose not to work. Plus the social disruption caused by the influx of the foreigners to a town, city or village - whilst on the other side of that coin, the loss of those people from their own countries' towns, villages and cities.
Continue ad infinitum with your levels, but there is no need for them; there is no more to say. Marxist drivel does not count.
I bet many prisoners would welcome time out in the fresh air.Saw this somewhere else.
We have fit and healthy labour readily available in this country. They are well fed and looked after and owe a debt to society. They go by the name of “prisoners”.
unfortunately people like Andy11 think there are simplistic solutions, there are not.
Yes, lots of people work away from home.
What is the problem?
Is it that the people of the UK discouraged Eastern Europeans from working away from home?
What are you libertarian? Capitalist?
Your ideas seem to blow with the wind.
I'm a conservative, thanks for asking! Although, you probably wouldn't recognise a conservative if you fell over one. Your idea of conservative is "The Conservative Party".
