Wasn't it Blair and Brown who sold all the gold?
It was Brown when Bliar was still president, and he sold it for a quarter of what it would fetch now. Look up how much he got for it, multiply by 3, and you have the amount he wasted. Is there no end to the the blunders this fool makes?

labour get voted in tax and spend like crazy 10-12 years on people get fed up with debt and vote tories in tories reduce debt with cuts etc 10-12 yrs on labour accuse them of failure to invest and hey presto there backin its just a merry-go-round

I'm glad someone brought that up.

Since WW2 the system has worked as:

10 years of Tory leadership... Cut taxes and public spending. Everyone has a bit more cash in their back pocket, but public service standards start to fall. So then we have:

10 years of Labour leadership... raise taxes and public spending. Public services are boosted, people feel a bit less affluent, so then we have:

10 years of Tory leadership... etc. etc.

It's a cycle. One party stresses nationalisation and public spending with greater taxation. The other stresses lower taxation, by privatising and cutting public spending.

I believe that with New Labour, the Labour party ended up combining left-wing taxation with right-wing public services. Now I wonder if Mr Cameron will do the same with the Tory party.

The mainstream parties now covered, I still wouldn't vote for a holocaust denier. Although I do support his right to free speech and to look like a t1t on national television.
