The industry I work in will "obsolete" you in a heartbeat, ignoring the chatter here, keeping oneself relevant (via willingness to change and learn) for future employment is worthwhile!

Perhaps it's just me but I see the increasing impact of AI and new tech as something that's liberating. AI tech could be tasked with cleaning up the oceans, monitoring illegal deforestation etc.

I fear idiotic people and leaders far more than the threat of rogue AI.

Not necessarily so, if and a big if AI is the next biggest thing (as it was in the 50's, 60's,70's,80's,90's etc) Then AI might well conclude that the problem is humans and the solution is a clean up of the problem.

If you unable to work it out for yourself then anyone trying to point it out is probably wasting their time, but here goes anyway . . .

Greta is a current meedya darling, nothing more nothing less. She exists in your meedya of choice purely because she sells copy.

She doesn't fully understand the question & the answer is totally beyond her comprehension.

Is she genuine or is she just another sock puppett? The answer to that is totally irrelevant, because if you cannot work it out for yourself . . . .
