Help needed changing central heating timer

Seems OK. The battery with this one only retains info in case of power cut. It is mains powered. Same connections as others so my orignal connection numbers still holds true.

Ericmark, just spoke to a plumber friend of mine and he said that a combined thermostat and timer wouldnt be a good idea as it will be in the front room which is probably the warmest room in the house as it is the most used and as the TV etc in there. He said that even though the rest of the house may be freezing it may switch off because the front room is warm.

Also dont think the Horstman C17 will be suitable either as there is a fused spare unit immediately to the right hand side of the existing timer and the Horstman C17 says it needs 100mm clearance to the right of the backplate. Back to square 1 then!

For easyness I am just going to replace the timer with an APT IMM24. The following wires are connected to the existing Flash Immermat terminals:

1 - Brown
2 - Blue
3 - Black
4 - Red

The APT IMM24 has only 3 terminals, 3=Neutral, 2= Live (Supply in), 1=Live (Supply out)

I therefore think that it will be wired as follows:

3= Blue + Black
2= Brown
1= Red

Does this sound right?
