As an atheist, I don't have a dog in this fight but from what I can see., the muslim population in the UK has shifted from 4.9% to 6.5% over the last 13 years. Over the same time the amount of people identifying as Christian increased, largely because of the influx of Polish people. I do not understand why people believe that 6.5% of the population have some kind of majority. I, currently get a lot of my work from a brilliant pointer. He is muslim (born in part of India that became Pakistan). He will swing by the site where I am working (to look at a job) and then drop me off at the "office", ie. the pub, after I look at the job. Last year, I worked in his home, he purchased me a crate of lager which I could swig on whilst working.

He has 3 girls. The family are lovely. I wish that were more people like him.

There's good and bad in all types of people.
