The sad reality is that the people being railed against are the third followers of an Abrahamic faith. Each generation believes in the same God.

Atheism is fine. I don't think Christians want to force their religion on others. Unlike other much less civilised, desirable religions.

I'm not a practising Christian, but appreciate living in countries that have a loose Christian framework and set of values. We lose these and adopt the culture of less civilised, forgiving, or accepting cult-like religions at our peril.
