The rights workers have today aren't exclusive to the EU. There is no reason for them not to remain in place post brexit.
Indeed not.

As long as you allow our elected representatives to decide what laws we should have, and you allow our courts to rule on matters of law.

The only problem with all of that is that the ECHR is nothing to do with the EU, it is not an EU institution, it's jurisdiction extends to all 47 countries who are members of the Council of Europe.

Which is also not an EU institution.

One of the key writers that drew up the convention was............. a UK conservative MP.

Also the first signatory to the ECHR.........The UK

I hope you aren't going to try and pretend that if we did not allow French companies to operate here that this sort of thing wouldn't happen.

I'm talking about working conditions and it's no surprise France has one of the highest rates of injury and mortality in the workplace.

Pardon me for not wanting to work for companies that don't care.

Why do think Comrade Corbyn wants the UK out of the EU.?
Because he is wrong about it.

No political party has a monopoly on its MPs, its members, its supporters or its voters being wrong. Or right.

Not all Tory MPs think we should leave, and not all Labour ones think we should stay. And vice-versa.

Not all Tory voters voted to leave, and not all Labour voters voted to remain. And vice-versa.

One of the reasons that everything is such a mess in Parliament is that it is organised and runs on party political lines, and Brexit has taken a wrecking ball to that because it is not a party political issue for the two main parties.

Both leaders of those two have huge problems because of the discrepancy between what they are doing, either out of genuine long-held personal conviction or because they are going along with the referendum result, and what their MPs want, and (particularly in the case of Labour) what the majority of their party members want.

The thing is, she can't, and she never could. EU membership has been a festering sore in the Tory party for ever, and to turn that metaphor into an analogy, ignoring it has now made it so bad that gangrene has set in and amputation (of the ERG wing) is now essential if the entire patient (the Tory party) is not to die.

Corbyn & Labour are not a great deal better off.

please show us a few of the claims you think you have seen.

It will be interesting to see how many of them say the EU determines the rate of Minimum Pay, or Employment Rights such as unfair dismissal in, say, the first two years of any employment.
The EU doesn't determine the rate of minimum pay , the origins of UK unfair dismissal law predates membership of the EU.
The fact that you accept that most labour laws that protect workers rights are of British origin and not European sort of weakens your argument for continuing membership of the EU.
British Labour law in some respects is superior to European labour law.
So now that you accept there is one less reason for staying in EU can you think of any others.

weakens your argument for continuing membership of the EU.

since my belief in the benefits of EU membership are not wholly or mainly based on the UK's poor record on workers rights, you are, as usual, talking nonsense.

please show us a few of the claims you think you have seen.

And you failed on that, too.

I am glad you have admitted that the rights of British workers are not a major concern to you.
So what are your beliefs in the benefits of EU membership based on then.
If you don't really care about the rights of British workers what do you care about.
You believe in Freedom of movement, you don't like plumbers, is there a connection.
Maybe you want revenge and would to see the country flooded with cheap Polish plumbers to undercut and destroy the livelyhood of British plumbers.
You sound suspiciously middle class.
